We are pleased to announce the first Indo-European Conference in Mathematics to be held in Pune, India, during January 12-16, 2026. This event is organized by the European Mathematical Society (EMS) and The Indian Mathematics Consortium (TMC). It will be held under the joint auspices of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune. 

The conference features 11 plenary talks, 20 symposia on different areas of mathematics, contributed talks, and poster presentations. 
 

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Deadline for Registration by foreign nationals: 15th October 2025
  • Deadline for Submission of Contributed Talk or Poster: 15th October 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance of Contributed Talk or Poster: 15th November 2025
  • Deadline for Registration by Indian nationals: 15th December 2025
  • Deadline for payment of registration fees: 31st December 2025

 

REGISTRATION FEES:

  • Students and Retired/Unemployed persons             75 Euros                    6000 INR
  • Members of EMS or of TMC                                         125 Euros                   10000 INR
  • All other participants                                                      150 Euros                   12000 INR
  • Accompanying persons                                                  125 Euros                   10000 INR

The registration fees will cover tea/coffee and lunch on all conference days, but not the accommodation, which has to be arranged separately unless offered by the organizers. Plenary and symposia speakers and organizers are offered a waiver of registration fees. However, if they wish, they are welcome to pay the registration fees so as to help the organizers. Refund of registration fees may not be possible. We suggest that the participants pay the registration fees after their travel plans are finalized (and in the case of foreign participants, visa is obtained). Interested participants are requested to register first using an appropriate link above and make the payment for registration fees (if applicable) at a later date once their travel plans are finalized. Refunds of registration fees may not be possible.

Payment of Registration Fees:

After filling the registration form, you will receive an e-mail with a payment link which you can use to pay the registration fees. In case you do not receive this e-mail by 15th October 2025, please contact the organizers at emstmc2026@gmail.com
